A Letter from the Conference’s Chair
As a health leader and Certified Health Executive (CHE) with more than 35 years experience from coast to coast, I find this conference continues to inspire me and is an ideal offering. Ideal because of its’ smaller size, participant mix, speaker perspectives, and practical content. These are just a few of the many reasons why I’m attending and chairing the summit for the third time.
The smaller size allows for meaningful interaction among a diverse range of speakers and participants who have gathered to share, listen and discuss: what we did; how we got there; what we learned and where to from here?
The summit has an excellent mix of participants, including health authorities, hospitals, physicians, entrepreneurs, information technology providers, aspiring entrepreneurs, patient expertise, government, academics, and others. We are all in the same space, hearing the same topic, but from our own lens/perspective.
There’s lots of time set aside for questions, follow-up conversations, for networking or to plan the next conversation. You do not have to be an expert to attend and benefit from the summit. In fact, those more novel to the topic areas sometimes ask the best questions and benefit greatly. The two days go fast, and I’m told a sense of humor helps them flow.
